This course is free and open to those living in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin

The Trauma and Resilience workshop is designed for those at risk for vicarious trauma, secondary traumatic stress, and/or compassion fatigue. Firefly Yoga International is providing this workshop free of charge in collaboration with M Health Fairview.

The Trauma and Resilience Workshop:

· Informs attendees on what trauma is and the psychological impacts that trauma can have on the body

· Guides participants through resiliency-building practices, including: trauma-informed chair yoga, meditation and breathing practices

· Addresses how to create a trauma-informed culture in the workplace

· Teaches six resources for self-regulation of the nervous system to be used in daily life

· Defines and provides a self-care framework. Participants will create a personal three-month self-care plan

Who should attend?

Those at risk for vicarious trauma, secondary traumatic stress, and/or compassion fatigue, including: front line staff, social service providers, nonprofit workers, those in healthcare, and others working in high stress environments.
